Take the whole family on a pirate cruise on Treasure Island - Europe's biggest water coaster and also discover the thrill of the largest and fastest roller coaster, The Pirate - named one of the world's best. Continue to play in the huge Water Park, hop on the trampolines or go exploring in the impressive playgrounds. Djurs Sommerland has more than 60 fun rides and is perfect for play and family fun.

Take a seat in the snake head and whizz through the jungle on the new, big family carousel, Sun God, in Mexico Land, but beware, the magical sun gods squirt water.

Magical Halloween in October

Also discover a magical Halloween adventure, when more than 10,000 pumpkins, witches, skeletons, ghosts and exciting entertainment transforms Djurs Sommerland into one of the largest autumn adventures for the whole family.

You will find the amusement park Fårup Sommerland close to the water and yet completely out in the woods. Here you can try, among other things, Denmark's wildest roller coaster, Lynet, which shoots off from 0 to 80 km/h in just two seconds and then it climbs up and down in wild loops and breakneck hairpins. Discover how the effect of 4.5 G puts colour in the cheeks of even the most speed-mad family members!

Denmark's largest aqua park
In the park you will also find Denmark’s largest heated Aqua Park, where the whole family can enjoy themselves in the wild waves of the Wave pool, race down Surf Hill or bump together in the huge rings in Vandslangen. When all the splashing around is over and your hair has dried, you can take your senses by surprise in the 4D cinema, have fun in the children’s tivoli, hop about on the numerous trampolines or laze in the shade of the trees and conjure up something in the large self-grill area, where red-hot BBQs are ready for you.

The world's 3rd best

You also encounter the super-sweet staff at Fårup, who will charm and service you as the third best staff among all amusement parks worldwide! In both 2010 and 2011, Sommerland was voted the world's third best family park by the American magazine Amusement Today.

Once admission is paid, all rides and Aqua Park are free all day, so fun is guaranteed for the whole family and all friends. In 2012, a new children's roller coaster, Pindsvinet, is to be built that will stand ready to put fun on rails for the juniors.

Jesperhus Feriepark is a Flower Park with rides and plenty of fun for children, but also a holiday centre where you can sleep in your own caravan, tent and cabin or holiday house.

The Flower Park

Today the Flower Park is much more than just flowers - there is also a big Pirate Land with carousels, a shooting gallery, pony fort, etc. This year you can experience 12 shows with Martin and Ketil, but you can also see the new popular shows with Jungle Animal Hugo and his three friends. In the 4800 m2 indoor Jungle Land is a Zoo, where you can help feed the animals and see them up close - most wander around freely. Afterwards you can see three different films in the 4D cinema, try to see if you can complete the Tarzan Trail and finally experience the cosy atmosphere of the new Jungle Animal Hugo Land – the children's indoor playground. All rides are free once admission is paid.

If you choose to convert the entrance ticket into a season ticket, you also have free admission to Aalborg Zoo, The Old Town and Aqua Aquarium & Wildlife Park.

Holiday Centre

The Holiday Centre is only 500 metres from the Flower Park. When you stay here it gives access to a wealth of activities. Many are free, others cost a little. Free: Water Park, the fishing lake, par 3 golf, sports hall, twist-bread, train ride, jogging club, beer and wine tasting, dancing school and much more. Payment: Bowling, mini golf, football school, handball school, zookeeper for a day, etc.

When you stay at Jesperhus Feriepark you have free access to the Water Park and Flower Park and all rides.

In Tivoli Friheden you will find 3 wild roller coasters and 40 other rides and activities for both children and adults.

NEWS OF THE YEAR! The ultimate movie-game in 5D Cinemagic!

The movie is in 3D and the wind whistles around your ears (4D). Face off against the others (5D) in this year's hottest movie-game experience. It's GENUINE 5D!

Each day during the season you can be entertained by Pierrot or greeted by the park's mascots Mrs. Frog and Mr. Rabbit. In addition, Friheden also offers a wealth of concerts with top Danish music names, theme days and concerts for children.

A season ticket gives free admission to Tivoli Friheden on all the days it is open, as well as concerts, theme days and other entertainment in the park. In addition, guests with a season ticket have the opportunity of a lot of extra benefits and discounts.
